The PLL finale just happened but we are still left with answers...so lets get to them and if you have the answer - comment below!!
1. Why did CeCe and Alex torture their family and friends...and then claim they don't have any family and friends? #PleaseStopWithThisNonsense. PLUS, A.D left and came back 1 year later (coincidently on Aria's wedding day...so much for loving her) and still played with them even though she found out Mona was the killer...I get she wanted to live like Spencer but they could have used a better plot-line! WHAT?! ASDFGHJKL

2. Why was Alex soft on Aria - did she just want to be friends with her the most?
3. What happened to Lucas and the whole comic story-line?
4. Are you telling me all this information about Bethany and how important she seemed was just down to 'wearing the wrong yellow top on the wrong night' #WhyThou? ALSO why was she wearing an Ali bracelet?
5. What about Melissa and Jenna and the shady stuff they got up to?
6. Why did Melissa have a mask made for her ages ago?
7. Do the girls actually know Wren is the Emison baby daddy? (also how did she manage that?)
8. Why did Alex use Mona on her team AFTER she killed her half sister? After all the whole point in A.D was avenging Charlotte's death, right? So it makes no sense why she did this to the other girls. And don't tell me it's all down to wanting a family please.
9. What did Maya know? #www.masssugar.com- MAR COME ON!?
10. We found out Charles & Lucas went to a camp for troubled boys when they were younger...is that it? Are they really leaving us at that?! They were friends, is that it...yet again?
11. Why was Melissa helping Jenna and Shauna?
12. What was CeCe (or Bethany...still confused) doing outside of Jason's house with Melissa?
14. What happened with Mona and the shovels?
15. Why did CeCe need a visitor's pass if she was already a patient at Radley?
16. Why didn't Mary Drake say she had twins? Alex was sent away to London so she couldn't even harm the family in Rosewood.
17. Why was Melissa at Camp May with Wilden, CeCe and Ali?
18. Why was Melissa desperate for Ian's home tapes (according to CeCe)?
19. How did Mary and Alex escape police custody after being arrested?
20. How the heck did Mona get Mary and Alex to Paris and open a shop...with a new cop boyfriend (which is the one who arrested Twincer) #Magic
21. How would Spencer know the book Alex gave Toby?
22. The moms don't remember how they got out of the basement...I'm going to go with one of them rammed down the door cause they were so drunk. Who though? I'll say Pam...or maybe Ashley (Quote" Don't under estimate the power of a mom")
23. So CeCe and Wilden are of a similar age, yes? So how the heck did Wilden cover up Marion's death because Charlotte was young at the time meaning so was Wilden. So unless he was 12 at the time these time-lines are awful.
24. Who gave Ali that bloody lip?
25. Who did Jason give the $50,000 check to?
26. What was Noel's motive for helping with the dollhouse?
27. What happened to Eddie Lamb and why did he call Ezra after seeing Aria in the car park?
28. Where did Ali's dad go?
29. Who was there when Jenna was given the braille message? Other than "End Game" what did it say? (the real one was about Climate Change btw).
30. The police confiscated the girls' phones, then Spencer got them a burner phone in secret. So how did Alison then received a call later from Tanner to come into the police station when they shouldn't even have phones? How did Tanner get Ali's burner phone number? 31. What was the significance of the number 214 and why was it brought up so much? Perhaps it was the number of unanswered questions we would have after the finale...
32. Why did Freeform not air the LAST EVER episode to us dedicated fans outside of the US...? I honestly feel let down by them. It is something nice they could have done as a gesture of thanks for keeping the show alive. After all, if they had no fans or viewers it would have been cancelled.
33. Who phoned Hanna with the burner phone about making sure people are dead before you burry them??

So agree with this. My thoughts... Fully agree. AD was not earned AT ALL!!! It was a cop out. There were so many ways to have shown Alex woven into all seasons ... watching the girls -- the very first barn scene, drug addicted Spencer, Radley confined Spencer, when her mom said it was like there were two Spencer's... and Alex was unlikeable (she was a sociopath) so her reveal was not heartbreaking at all. They should have tied in all the loose ends with Ezra as AD to end it and if they really wanted the Alex storyline, it could have been season 8. We got no real motivation for why Alex was so unhappy, why she didn't just call Spencer and meet like she did with CeCe, why Mary didn't tell Spencer about her, or why CeCe wouldn't let them meet. The girls didn't find out who the baby daddy was, only we did. Wren' death was unnecessary and brushed over. How was he going to kill Mona? He didn't seem like a killer. They should have shown that conversation where Mona agreed to free Mary from jail. The talk between Jenna and Toby should have been longer where she told him she knew there was another sister, had been researching it, not just suspected. Toby should have been catching on that Alex kissed etc. different, the bullet hole was in a different place, that she suddenly had a British accent in the horse scene (where was that horse farm anyway? It could have tied up the Bethany story there) and Spencer clearly told Toby the horse only liked her, so he should have totally known that was not Spencer with the horse. His reveal to the girls should have been more detailed. He hardly said anything and the girls were like, "oh she has an evil twin, that totally makes sense so let's run and find her without calling the cops AGAIN." Mona was mean when she hit Spencer -- why? She also told AD she wanted to hurt Aria with the infertility news. Why? Did they fake call her and mess with the results? If Mona so wanted to be part of the group, and was "trying to find out who AD was," she was unclear in her motivation. And then she took credit for saving them? Spencer should have smacked her. HARD! How did Mona have time to build a secret room in Paris, let alone buy a store? How was she not locked up again bc she was obviously not cured? One scene in Welby with the French boyfriend would have helped us know he was a fake cop and that she really had plotted and kidnapped the women in the end and wasn't daydreaming. How did Alex build that HUGE underground TOWN??? I was not happy that Haleb was having issues. I wanted a happy first year for them. Doesn't Alison get a ring too? I wanted a happier ending for Spoby. I see an Emison and Jenna and the school girls spin off - tho I would prefer one with Mona and Haleb, or Spoby more. They should have ended it with Addison and the girls getting a text from B. The exact repeat barn scene? Stupid. Best part was Mona having the women held captive and that she was still crazy. I see a great spinoff there. I did love the actresses and show as a whole and the social media family. But Troian was fabulous though!!!!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Troian was and is an amazing actres and played Alex & Spencer so well. I find it such a shame they went with the twin theory since it was in the book. I feel (as you said) they could have gone for the Ezra is AD. My top 3 was Ezra, Lucas & then Twincer. I just felt Twincer was so predictable. The A.D reveal itself was amazing though and I knew straight away with the mirror foreshadowing. Overall I loved the finale I am just disappointed they went with such a predictable person for AD.
DeleteMary and Spencer did not get arrested he wasn't a cop, just Mona's and that's how they got to Paris.
