L'Oréal Blemish Rescue Clay Mask

As you know from my previous posts, I love L'Oréal (here is another review I did of their products). I just love how they keep my sensitive skin at bay. I am prone to blackheads, dry skin and at times, an uneven skin tone. This mask is the most gorgeous colour I have ever seen and WORKS from application number 0ne. It's not best smelling mask ever...but don't worry, you can hardly smell it once its on.

I apply my face masks with this face mask brush I found on Amazon and they work a treat. I then remove it with my make-up (well...face mask) remover cloth which I also got from Amazon. I didn't manage to get my hands on their brightening masks :(

Once you apply the mask, it looks sort of metallic but once it dries it become this insane, beautiful, blue colour.

The formula is very smooth and when it dried, it wasn't a horrible, tight, uncomfortable feeling you get with most masks. The recommended time to keep it on is 15 minutes which is the average time it takes for it to dry but if you still have a few patches that still need to dry, leave it on for another 5 minutes and then rinse off with warm water - but use a soft cloth to remove it or your skin could become red and inflamed if you use a harsh one - also avoid touching your face after since that spreads spots, etc..

After one application it makes your skin-tone look more even an give you a nice glow. It reduced the appearance of spots and blackheads slightly but after a couple of applications you really do start to see a massive difference.

  3. I've never heard of this mask, but you make me want to try it. I'm pregnant right now and that has resulted in me having blotchy skin. Once baby arrives I might give it a try! Thanks for the recommendation!
