Things You Gotta Watch On Netflix

These are my favourite things to watch on Netflix. It may vary from country to country so leave your go-to Netflix shows below. Yes there are some films from the 80's on this list but they're so worth the watch - don't worry though, there are plenty up-to-date TV series and films listed too.

The Circle: Who's Watching Who?

This film doesn't really do much in terms of a movie but it does on the other hand prove that just because you have a great cast, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll have a great movie.

The fact that it got hardly any screen time yet stars like Tom Hanks, John Boyega and Emma Watson appear in it is unusual.

Mae Holland [Emma Watson] lands an interview with The Circle thanks to her friend Annie [Karen Gillan]. She obviously aces the interview and ends up working for the world’s most powerful internet company. The Circle uses the concepts from Google, Apple, Twitter, Facebook and also touches on a new level of Vlogging and Blogging to create an eerily accurate picture of what our future may look like.

Passengers: 30 years later...

Set in the near future, passenger Jim, along with 4.999 other passengers travel to start a new life on a planet over 100 years away. Having travelled for 30 years, Jim's sleeping pod malfunctions and he wakes up 90 years too early. Since the passengers, including Jim, were only suppose to wake up a few months before landing, he now finds himself alone, in the middle of space, with nobody to talk to other than an android.

Now You See Me 2

Starring an all new cast, Now You See Me 2 is back, bigger and even better than before. Now You See Me was one of my favourite movies and as you could guess I was very happy when they announced a second movie. The cast this year is amazing. From Mark Ruffalo to Dave Franco, they did a pretty good job!

Nerve

Described as a game like "truth or dare, minus the truth", Nerve, whilst appearing fake, is scarily probably already a game we have all yet to come across. Considering the stupid trends on YouTube recently, I wouldn't be surprised. Let's all just hope this isn't a thing already.

Fantastic Beats and Where To Find Them

Kind of Christmas themed and kind of not - sorry! But maybe you are thinking of buying cinema vouchers for Christmas or taking them to a movie, or maybe you have come across this just because it is Harry Potter related, either way I hope my review helps you.

Directed by award winning, Tom McCarthy, Spotlight is a spine-chilling, emotional and well-written investigative dramatic piece which seeks to uncover the truth, telling the story nobody had told before.
