Warning - This review contains some spoilers ⚠️
Starring an all new cast, Now You See Me 2 is back, bigger and even better than before. Now You See Me was one of my favourite movies and as you could guess I was very happy when they announced a second movie. The cast this year is amazing. From Mark Ruffalo to Dave Franco, they did a pretty good job!

I love movies that are fast and have lots of things going on, and this was just that. As you would expect, the movie still has that fun, mysterious vibe and starts straight away - none of that slow starting nonsense. The beginning, whilst sad, picks up and returns to what you'd expect and soon leaves you confused was to what is going on.
For me, Mark Ruffalo was by far the best actor in this film. He had the most heart-felt story and the most reason for doing what he did during the movie. His motivation? The death of his dad.
Woody Harrelson stood out for me. But he also plays his twin brother and I think that ruined it for me. Had they cast someone else as his brother, I think it would of worked out much better, For me, it was just a bit cheesy and the twin was just annoying.
The newest member was Lula (Lizzy Caplan). It was understood that Isla Fisher was pregnant at the time of filming so could not return. In all honesty I prefer Caplan. She had more of a connection with the audience and she didn't have that annoying trait to her.
Daniel Radcliffe, however, did. I loved him on Harry Potter (who doesn't?), but in this film he was just so rude, annoying and his ego was hugeeeee! I suppose that was all part and parcel of the character so he played it well!
Morgan Freeman is a good character in any role and just like the first, he had that mystery about him. What was he doing? What will he do? and why?
There were so many twists and turns in this movie which I won't give away but for me, it was worth watching. The ending was amazing and the card scene which I will leave below was suberb!!
The only downside however was the ending when I (and I assume many of you) expected someone to return and it didn't happen, it was a bit disappointing - that is all I shall say.
I hope they do a third movie with the same cast as their second movie.
